Rating: 3 Stars Themes: Self-Help, Non-Fiction, Parenting, Psychology, Autism Thoughts: I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. I was conflicted on this book. I appreciated the references provided and it is a well detailed and researched book for the most part. As with her previous book Loveson provides practical and helpful ideas to parents raising Autistic children. However, she does advocate for ABA in this book which is harmful and research done with autistic individuals who have gone through ABA show its linked to trauma, mental health problems and other negative psychological effects so goes against pretty much everything else she advises in this book. Favourite Quote: "To the parents who are just starting this journey, know that you are not alone."
